In 2006, the Danish Arts Council’s Committee for International Visual Art managed total funds of 485,000 euros. The funds are allocated via the committee’s pools for international exhibitions by visual artists, the promotion of Danish art abroad, the promotion of foreign art in Denmark and international travel by visual artists and curators.

Normally projects by students are not supported.

There are four annual application deadlines:
In 2008: January 15, April 15, August 15 and October 15 .

Applications can not be send in electronically. They can be delivered by mail before the application deadline.
